Here’s a fun game for your My Little Pony party: pin the tail on Rainbow Dash! The bright rainbow tail is so fun and the kids will love it!
It was the perfect game for our My Little Pony third birthday party starring Rainbow Dash, my daughter’s favorite pony. She can say “Ray-do Dash” but usually calls her “Boo Nay-nay” lol.
I enlarged a clipart of Rainbow Dash, separated the tail from the body and divided the body into two parts in order to fit on standard 8.5 x 11 inch sheets of paper. That way you can just print on your home printer.
What you need:
- white card stock (at least 3 sheets)
- printer with color ink
How to set it up:
There are two sheets of paper for the body, and one sheet for two tails (you can print as many as you need).
I recommend using white card stock and setting your printer to high quality before printing.
You can trim the paper all around the pony if you like, or just leave it as is. Trim the white margin on the inside edges of the body, and cut out the tails.
The two parts of the body overlap a bit to give you room to match it up. Tape the two sides together from the back so you won’t see the tape at the front.
When you’re ready to play, put some tape on the back of the tails, and write names on them too so you can tell who’s is who’s.
For the bigger kids (4-6 years) I put on a blindfold and spinned them around three times, and for the little ones (2-3 years) I just put on a blindfold and didn’t spin them.
Everyone who played got a prize (plastic bracelet or necklace) and the winner got to choose her prize first.
I hope you enjoy this party game, and have a wonderful party!
