Winter is one of my favorite seasons for creating special memories with my family. That’s why I created this fun, free printable “What is My Snowman Name?” activity to share with you! It’s the perfect way to sprinkle a little extra winter magic into your day.
I recently shared a Reindeer Name version—this snowman version is just as delightful and sure to bring lots of giggles. Whether you’re using it for a classroom party, a cozy family night, or a winter birthday celebration, I hope it adds some joy to your season!
How Does It Work?
The “What is My Snowman Name?” printable is simple and fun. To play:
- First, find the first letter of your first name to get the first part of your snowman name.
- Next, match the month of your birthday to the last part of your snowman name.
- Lastly, combine the two for your whimsical snowman name!
For example, if your name starts with “P” and your birthday is in April, your snowman name is “Twiggy Melty Pants.”

Add Some Snowman Charm to the Day
If you’re looking to boost the snowman-themed experience, here are some ideas to add an extra sprinkle of snowy delight.
Snowman-Themed Treats
- Snowman Marshmallow Pops: Skewer three marshmallows on a stick and decorate with candy for the face and buttons. For an extra treat, dip the marshmallows in white chocolate before adding candy.
- Snowball Popcorn: Shape popcorn balls and coat them in white chocolate and shredded coconut to mimic snowballs.
- Snowman Cupcakes: Decorate vanilla cupcakes with white frosting, chocolate chips for eyes, a candy corn nose, and mini pretzels for arms.
Snowman Crafts
- Sock Snowmen: Fill white socks with rice or stuffing, tie them off to make a “head” and “body,” and decorate with buttons, fabric scraps, and markers.
- Snowman Ornaments: Fill clear plastic bauble ornaments with fake snow or cotton, and add snowman faces using paint or markers.
- DIY Snow Globes: Let kids create magical snow globes with mason jars, figurines, water, and glitter.
Fun Snowman Games
- Pin the Carrot on the Snowman: A wintery twist on “Pin the Tail on the Donkey.”
- Snowman Bowling: Stack up white plastic cups decorated like snowmen and knock them down with a ball.
- Snowman Treasure Hunt: Hide small snowman-themed trinkets or paper cutouts around the room and have kids search for them.
Cute Snowman Decorations
- Mini Snowman Centerpieces: Create snowmen with Styrofoam balls and accessorize with tiny felt scarves and hats attached with hot glue.
- Snowman Garland: Cut snowman shapes from white paper and string them together to hang across windows or doorways.
- Snowman Balloons: Inflate white balloons, draw snowman faces with a sharpie, and attach orange paper noses to complete the look.
