My youngest daughter is starting preschool soon, and I realized I didn’t have a printable back to school interview for preschool! So I whipped one up to share with you guys, along with a first day of Pre-K interview!
Last year I created the first day of Kindergarten interview and then the 1st to 8th grade interviews. Now I’ve added first day of preschool and pre-k interviews, as well as 9th to 12th grades.
This interview is super easy to do and has lots of fun questions packed into one sheet. It’s a great keepsake for each school year!

I did these interviews with my daughters starting Kindergarten and 2nd Grade last year, and they are the cutest keepsakes! I can’t wait to do them again this year. Imagine looking back on these after your kid graduates… there will be smiles and there might be tears! So special.
I know I’ll be making these printable back to school interview a tradition for our family. How about you? Do you have any special back to school traditions or keepsakes you do with your family? Let me know in the comments!

*UPDATE* “A Drawing of Me” has been changed to “A Picture of Me”. This now matches the Last Day of School interviews and allows for either a drawing or a photo of your child.

Thank you for sharing these sheets! It would take me a long time to try to make them and I am grateful to be able to capture memories through them.
You’re very welcome! I’m happy I could help 🙂
I was wondering if you could extend these to cover up to grade 12. Maybe with some slightly different or additional questions to appeal to the older age. I would love to have these going from preschool to graduation as a keepsake.
Hi Amanda, sorry for the delay in my reply! The first and last day of school interviews are available from preschool up to 12th grade 🙂
